The Smooch Lounge
Roi is playing tonight at the Smooch Lounge.
This piece is a rough snippet I consider an animatic from an animated short I have been working on called Koi Roi. I plan to piece together moments from the story I have written over the next year, along with music and voice talent to bring the characters to life.
Beginning song is called Lullaby by A Perfect Circle, using as placeholder while creating the original score for Koi Roi. The second song and audio are from my daughter Lily singing and myself humming. A work in progress.

This was such a fun project to work on. I wanted to challenge myself and see what I could draw in a week using the Procreate Dreams app on my IPad and Premiere Pro for the editing. A hint of After Effects for the beginning and ending scenes. WIP for sure.
Special thanks to Lily, Anna, and Isaac for voicing the characters. I look forward to clean this animatic up soon and see what it will become with a little more time and energy.
